In response to Witch Doctor's "The TRUE Real Deal...."
Cheeezz!!
What's the big to-do about? One should buy a bike only after he/she has properly researched the limits and capabilities of that bike and is satisfied as to its suitability
for him/her.
I bought a GoldWing because it offers many trouble-free miles with a great deal of comfort for both my wife and me. In fact, we just completed a trip of 8,500 miles from Florida to Washington State and back with zero problems.
Since my wife has an inseam of only 25 inches, she could not take part in the driving aspect of the trip, which is why I am considering a Savage for her. She has slung her leg over just about every Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki,AND Harley, including customs. The Savage is the ONLY bike she can straddle FLATFOOTED, and we are presently in the market for a reasonably priced used bike for her.
Having followed the conversations on this site for almost 8 months now, I am impressed with the "Suzi", and I look forward to riding it myself when we are not on the road together!
Sounds to me as though some of the contributors/responders have too much time on their hands.........
By the way, Witch Doctor, your comments are well-taken and I understand your intent. Thanks for the information!
